Known Kindred Residents of Martinborough

Settled in the mid 1800's Martinborugh is now one of the world's great emerging wine regions.

The town stood firm against native unrest, achieving an uneasy state of cooperation with the local iwi until late the late 1800's when the first of the towns kindred residents arrived.

Senator Praetorius and his associate, Hans Von Jurgen landed with a small force of ghouls. Von Jurgen proceeded to make the area safe for his master to inhabit. For his part the Senator busied himself with building a "New Rome" here as he put it. In 1902 Senator Buchanaee, an old associate of Senator Praetorius and Von Jurgen's arrived and settled in Martinborough. She quickly brought Martinborough into New Zealands limelight as a place for the rich to visit and not be disturbed.

Some time in the 1920's Senator Cole arrived and the three elders started to look at the towns and cities around them.

There is an extremely low crime rate around the area with much of this attributed to effectiveness of the towns constabulary and the fact that the vast majority of permanent residents here can trace their families arrival to the area back to the 1800's. This town is one of the beacons of civilised light in this world of darkness and the local council works very hard to keep it this way.
